Activities
At Gjeilo Camping you can relax in the hammock between old pine trees, swim in the river, relax on the sandy beach, fish or rent a canoe. The campsite is also a good starting point for day trips in Jotunheimen, Reinheimen or Breheimen. Both Skjåk municipality and Lom municipality have many great trips in our immediate area. The campsite is also a great base for day trips to Western Norway.
We are located 7 km from the center in Lom. It is about 60 minutes to drive from Gjeilo Camping to Juvasshytta, starting point for a trip to Galdhøpiggen. It takes about 1.5 hours to drive to Geiranger or Stryn. From Oslo to us it takes about 5 hours, from Trondheim to our camping it takes about 4.5 hours.
